Kerbside Collector

Trucksmith produces the Kerbside Collector in 7.5, 10 and 12 tonne GVW formats.  As well as the Kerbside Collector we can produce recycling and waste collection vehicles to suit your application.

The Kerbside Collector
We designed the Kerbside Collector to deal with the daily collection of up to ten separate recyclable materials and there are already a number on the road with North Devon Council where the introduction of this vehicle has maximised the collection of recycling in one single pass making it safe, cost effective and efficient.
The whole vehicle has been designed with health and safety in mind and covers all current legislation, allowing household recycling to be kerbside sorted without the need for an on board operative.  Some of the safety features included are hot water hand basin, emergency stop, rotating beacons, reversing camera, work lamps and nearside corner step mirrors, all of which help to minimise danger to operatives, the public and casual damage to the vehicle.

The Kerbside Collector is divided into four major sections, the cardboard crusher, removable stillages, lifting bins for cans and plastic bottles and a top box for light weight materials and incorporates a unique patent pending tipping body and lifting hoist for the easy discharge or pre sorted waste.

The Kerbside Collector can be supplied as either a whole vehicle or adapted to suit a free issue chassis.
